We are replacing our old Cuisinart. It works, but the plastic piece that needs to be in place keeps falling out and getting lost in the drawer. If you don’t mind the frustration you can use it. Or, if you have a model like it you canabalize it. The blade was replaced in a recall a few years ago and we purchased some additional accessories. Free.
