Hello, BBQ!
I am one of the full-time book editors in the area and I will be hosting a 5-day residential writer’s retreat in a beachside home this February 20–24. Writers of any genre and at any level of publication (or not) are invited to attend.
Along with our focus on contemplation, creativity, community, and craft, we will enjoy some lovely self-care elements including delicious meals by Heidi Cummins (of Roost fame) and massage by the fabulous Gia Shaw. Writers will have an opportunity to schedule a 1:1 with an experienced editor to discuss their projects and established literary agent Chip MacGregor will be offering an “ask me anything” Q & A session to all attendees. Of course there will be plenty of focused writing time as well.
So far we have writers coming from IL, NE, NC, CA, and OR and we still have a couple of spots left. Registration closes on December 15 or when the retreat is full—whichever happens first.
