NEIL SIMON’S COMING OF AGE COMEDY ‘BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS’ at the NCRD PERFORMING ARTS CENTER March 18th – April 2nd. Tickets at www.RiverbendPlayers.org
Dreaming of baseball and girls, young Eugene must cope with the mundane existence of his family life in Brooklyn: formidable mother, overworked father, and his worldly older brother Stanley.
Throw into the mix his widowed Aunt Blanche and her two young (but rapidly growing) daughters and you have a recipe for hilarity, served up Simon-style.
Meet the Cast: Brian McMahon as Jack (overworked father)
65 years ago Brian’s mom gave birth to a 10-pound ham. Brian was born to be an actor, just not on stage.
Some even say Brian should be on the stage and there’s one leaving in 15 minutes. (Hi-O! We know, very timely jokes.)
Brian lives in Manzanita with his wife Betsy, who has also performed in Riverbend Players productions.
Brian & Betsy have also directed numerous plays.
