Hours tomorrow, Sunday May 14, are 10am to NOON.

Most everything will be half price!!! Lots of plants and gifts left–get some for MOM. (Some things may not be included in the half price sale.)

Our raffle drawing will be at the end of the sale tomorrow for basket of garden goodies, a hand made garden wire cloche and a large indoor ficus (fig) tree. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $20. Choose which item you want the most or put some tickets in all three.

Garden club members work hard to make this sale happen, have fun doing it (mostly), and we GIVE our money away to local organizations who match our mission.

So come and support your community. These babies need a new home! Thanks to all of you who came today.

Location of the sale is 43080 Northfork Rd, Nehalem at the junction of Hwy 53 and Northfork Rd with horse statues in the front yard and real horses in the back yard! Start on North Fork Rd at the blinking light in Nehalem and go 5 miles to the end of N Fork Road. The sale is on the left.

We encourage you to pay with cash or check and to round up! Past recipients who have received money from the Nehalem Bay Garden Club include Food Roots, Hoffman Gardens, Alder Creek Farm, Tillamook Early Learning Center, Tillamook Chamber Comm Foundation, North County Food Bank, Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church for their food programs, Nehalem Elementary Garden Program, and the mural at Nehalem City Park.

Our mission is “to cultivate knowledge and love of gardening through educational programs and activities; to aid in the protection of the environment, native plants and wildlife; and to support public service through garden related organizations and volunteer opportunities.”

If you would like to become a member, send an email to barbaraandchuck@nehalemtel.net. We are planning 2 garden trips this summer, and in September we start our regular meetings on the 4th Tuesday at 1:30 at the Calvary Bible Church in Manzanita across from the Library. September’s meeting will be on the 26th. Dues are $10/year.
