The providers of these services MAY NOT DISCLOSE to the minors parents, or legal guardian information regarding the information and services provided unless the minor has authorized the disclosure in writing, or it is authorized under ORS 192.567 or it is required under federal law. Can you see a very young child navigating this? Our state constitution guarantees
abortion rights to 15 years and up, without parental consent.
Why target younger children with this bill? It is not about abortion, sex education, birth control, it is about REMOVING PARENTAL RIGHTS! They will not know what is happening to their child.
Parents love their children, they care about their happiness, that they do well in school, and feel successful.
The educational system does not love your child. They do not really know much about your child,
or its health, not as much as parents do. They are paid to educate your child and personally I think they have forgotten that. Aside from that – gender change has no place in decision making from school officials, nor do reproductive choices.
There are not many abortions given under the age of fifteen. Oregon statistics show no abortions under the age of fifteen. Most abortions are given at the age of 20.
This bill says that an individual at ANY age has the right to choose reproductive and gender care. Think about it!. ANY AGE!
