Dr. Atwater, Geologist, U.S. Geological Survey & Research Professor from the University of Washington, is presenting “The Orphan Tsunami of January, 1700”. He will share his research on the ancient tsunami and what it means for people in the Northwest, especially the Oregon Coast.
