Books, Brains and Beer!
What: A capped 10 person men’s book club with a focus on exploring diversity in reading with a depth of discussion. Members will volunteer their books of choice, chosen by group vote. It is essential to be committed to reading the book as well as participating in the discussions.
WHEN Meeting every 6 weeks, meetings lasting between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Club forming in September, 2023 with the first discussion meeting to be held in October – date to be decided by the newly formed club.
WHERE The location will vary, we will meet at local (Manzanita/Nehalem/Cannon Beach) restaurants for dinner and discussion.
WHY To develop friendship and community, ideally from a cross section of diverse backgrounds and reading interests, politely and respectfully challenging each other to look at the world a bit differently.
