It’s that time again! Friends of North County Recreation District are selling their fall planted/spring blooming bulbs. These are very high-quality bulbs-no soft spots and good sized. Friends will be in the parking lot of Manzanita Grocery & Deli Saturday, September 2nd, from 9:30 am to 1 pm. Friends’ bulb selection this year includes 9 different varieties of alliums, crocus, snake’s head, hyacinths, and daffodils. These bulbs will be delivered to us in mid-October, and we will be in touch with you when your order is ready. Friends of NCRD also has paper whites and amaryllis for you to order. These bulbs will be delivered in mid-November. If you would like a catalog of these bulbs emailed to you, contact Gail at gailmyoung@mac.com or leave a message with Gail, 503-830-3759 or message me, Patty, 503-368-6081.
Friends of NCRD will also have fresh flower bouquets for sale Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. As long as the weather holds, we hope to sell through the month of September. For special orders you can contact Gail at the number above.
Thanks to so many of you who have continued to support Friends of NCRD and their Mission to promote and support NCRD by raising funds for scholarships, programs, and projects by joining Friends of NCRD, buying tubers, bouquets, and bulbs. We couldn’t do it without you!
