ROCKAWAY WRITERS RENDEZVOUS LAUNCHES WRITING CONTESTS: CALL FOR ENTRIES – STUDENTS & ADULTS; Mark Your Calendar April 26-27-28 RWR Events – Open Mic, Workshops & Contest Awards
We’re doing it again – the 2nd annual Rockaway Writers Rendezvous is lining up an array of writers and speakers for the last weekend in April 26, 27 and 28. But first, get out your pen – I mean keyboard and get ready to enter the RWR Writing Contest – for students in Neah-Kah-Nie School District and for all/any adults. There are multiple categories – fiction, nonfiction, poetry and more. CASH PRIZES FOR THE STUDENTS!! So give us your best stories and mark your calendars and plan to join us for the second annual Rockaway Writers Rendezvous. The Rockaway Writers Rendezvous benefits writing scholarships for Neah-Kah-Nie High School students.
There will be workshops on a variety of writing genres including fiction, memoirs, nonfiction, poetry, filmmaking/documentaries, publishing, and more.
The writing contest is open now through March 8th. Go to www.RBWriters.com for more information, or see the information flyers for details about the Adult Writing Contest and the Student Writing Contest. All winning entries will be published in an anthology and authors will be given the opportunity to read their works during the RWR weekend. Now, get writing – we want to hear your stories.
Space is limited, so get your tickets now – $20.00 for access to dozens of workshops. RWR has expanded with workshops in several venues around Rockaway Beach in 2024.
