TIME TO GET THOSE DAHLIA TUBERS PLANTED!
Friends of North County Recreation District (NCRD) will start their annual dahlia tuber sale this weekend. There will be an outside space at the Manzanita Grocery & Deli in downtown Manzanita. On display will be twenty-eight kinds of named dahlias, with pictures for sale ($2 each) and several unknown tubers for sale ($1 each). You pay either by cash or check inside the Deli. For information on planting or buying new tubers, go to dahlias.com. The is the Swan Island Dahlia website.
