Hello conscious aging and community connections Friends!

The conscious aging and community connections program is held on the second Monday of each month from 2-4pm. Sponsorship by the Pine Grove Community House allows us to keep admission at $5 per session.

All proceeds go directly to the Pine Grove Community House.

Our overall program goals are to bring people in our community together, to get to know one another at a deeper level, and to encourage one another to live our best possible lives. Everyone is welcome to join us!

On Monday, July 8th, the theme for our gathering is “Sharing Economy Travel: Strengthening Global Community through Home Exchange and Workaway”. Edith Rohde and her daughter Jill Turner will share their experiences from staying in home exchanges in 16 countries, hosting 52 families in their homes, and hosting workaway volunteers who have provided 20 hours per week free help in their garden and home for the last four summers.

Come see how these free or nearly free programs work and hear tips for successful home or work exchanges. Edith and Jill believe that the “Sharing Economy” strengthens the fabric of goodwill in the world. Interested in reducing the cost of travel, finding economical support for your home and yard, or meeting interesting people from around the world? Come hear how.

July 8th, 2 – 4pm at the Pine Grove Community House in Manzanita. Please arrive before 2 as we will start promptly.
