Alyssa brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining her own sewing machines, and while she’s not a professional machine mechanic, she’s passionate about helping others keep their machines in top shape. Here’s how Alyssa can assist you:
Clothing Repairs & Alterations: Got a hole in your pocket?
Basic Machine Maintenance: Sometimes all your machine needs is a little TLC!
Basic Repairs & Adjustments: If your machine is skipping stitches or refusing to make stitches, Alyssa can take a look. She has experience with adjusting machine timing, one of the most common culprits behind these issues.
Don’t leave those broken things in the closet. Bring them to Repair Cafe! Our volunteer fixers do their best to get your items working again, help you find parts or just figure out how to use your items. No job is too small! Literally… we just untangled a glob of 9 necklaces a few months ago.
