On January 11th, 2024 (TONIGHT!) the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council will be hosting their Annual Meeting and the Year in Review.
The NBWC’s Annual Meeting will start at 5 pm. The Annual Meeting consists of board elections, selection of board officers, and the Annual Report. All members are welcome to attend to vote in board elections.
The Annual Report will be a summary of council activities in 2023 including progress reports on restoration designs, planting projects, and regional collaborations. There will also be announcements about upcoming events including the 2024 Nehalem Estuary Cleanup! It’s been a busy year for the council so we hope you’ll come early to learn about what we’ve been up to.
Both the Annual Meeting and Year in Review will be hosted at the NCRD in Nehalem. They will both also be accessible via Zoom and are free to the public. P.S. You’ll note a name change for the Watershed Council. We are now the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council instead of the Lower Nehalem Watershed Council. We think this will both clear up confusion among the community about which organization we are and what we do.
