This is our first annual poetry project hosted by Groundswell, a local creative group. The mission behind the poetry project is to enhance community engagement around self-expression, creativity, connection, ecology, and history of this extraordinary coastline. All and any are welcome to self-submit poetry. Please read more and submit poetry here:
Poems will be published digitally with authorship/credits (please specify if you’d like to remain anonymous). A few selected poems will be published with permission of the author in a book series that will be distributed in the northwest, all writers/artists will receive a copy of the book. You will be contacted if selected. All book or published work revenue will go directly to reimbursement of project costs (book publication, printing, shipping, artwork), to the following years poetry project as an ongoing community event, and all profits will be donated to the North Coast Land Conservancy.
