The Alps is a very nice, and very lightly used, 3 person backpacking tent. At 9 pounds we used it for car camping. It’s in excellent condition. As you can see in the photo the fly makes for excellent coverage if you’re out in a NW rain event. The vestibule helps for a drier and cleaner tent entry. The tent fully opens at each end.

The Coleman was purchased as a stop gap measure when our favorite Big Agnes tent was destroyed in a ferocious Nevada wind storm. It’s only been used a few times. To me it’s kind of a casual tent, great for kids, we’ve set it up in the living room as a play space.
