The band just told us that they are adding keyboard player Ken Margolis for this tour. Ken has played with Bo Diddely and the band Cracker.
This was a very nice late addition and will certainly help keep the room jumping.
From the band:
“Hey Edge of the West family and friends,
Hope the change of seasons is doing you right. Feels about right here. We just wanted to let you know about some cool shows we’re playing this Fall, around the SF Bay Area and Monterey Bay regions and up through the Pacific Northwest. This Sunday in historic Point Richmond, CA we play an all-Grateful-Dead night at a newer venue – the Baltic Kiss, where there has been a weekly Dead Sundays event developing. Then, back playing our usual eclectic repertoire, we head North for a musical expedition through Medford, Eugene, Manzanita OR, Tacoma WA and Cave Junction OR, October 27-31. This’ll be a fun adventure. We’ll have the big version of the band with Professor Ken Margolis on keys, pedal steel master Charlie Joe Wallace and of course Bill Laymon, Jim Lewin and Marty Carpenter holding down the core. In November we return to California to team back up with master songwriter-troubadour and Platinum-seller Lacy J Dalton for a pair of shows presented by Santa Cruz’s own KSQD Radio: Moe’s Alley 11/17 and in Carmel Valley 11/19. Details below.
We sure to appreciate you keeping us in your universe. Thanks for keeping tabs on us. Come on down to a show when it works for you. Music events keep us together. And have a warm and cozy Autumn, wherever you may be.
Best, Edge of the West
