Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 28 at 1:30 at the Calvary Bible Church in Manzanita for the regular meeting of the Nehalem Bay Garden Club. The Church is across from the Library.
Our featured speaker is Ketzel Levine, Manzanita’s own plant geek, who will give a talk on speaking botanic Latin.
Ketzel says, “A smear campaign against the language plant geeks speak, botanic Latin, continues to denigrate it as “high-brow”. Don’t fall for it! It’s about as high-brow as pig Latin, and a lot more fun. Fun for the whole family!”
