MEET THE CAST FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ’12 ANGRY JURORS’: JACOB MERWIN
Jacob is making his Riverbend Players debut.
Originally born and raised in New York, Jacob has lived all over the country and even out of it, in the Republic of Ireland, where he trained as an actor and took up fencing.
He moved to Garibaldi from Arizona back in May of last year.
He has written and published one book and is currently working on his next novel.
12 ANGRY JURORS
Based on the award-winning movie 12 Angry Men starring Henry Fonda.
On a hot summer day after a lengthy trial, a jury must decide whether a 19-year-old man is guilty of murdering his father.
The jury votes 11-1 that the man is guilty of the crime, but the law requires a unanimous vote by all 12 jurors to pass judgment.
Tempers flare as the eleven jurors try to convince the 1 dissenter to come to their side.
However, as the evidence is re-examined, new uncertainties come to light, forcing everyone to honestly question whether there is some measure of “reasonable doubt”.
Twelve Angry Jurors is a courtroom thriller that puts you on the edge of your seat while powerfully exploring what it means to live in a democracy.
