Align with doTERRA plant power for healthy home and personal care. Tue. 6/27 6pm Nehalem

Submitted By: wingsforwisdom@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Are you ready to support your natural body and home with plant powered oils direct from nature?

Join us for an outdoor evening gathering to enjoy community and experience doTERRA’s pure plant powered products first hand. I’ve been using doTERRA for about 5 years. I love them. Come learn why!
I’m a Health Coach, bodyworker and birth worker with over 25 years of experience in wellness care after an early career in the (quite synthetic) fragrance and flavor industry which gave me insight into what goes into mainstream so-called cleaners and personal care items, even our foods.

I’d love to get to know you and understand your wellness needs and health priorities. I can help you choose products that would support your bioindivideal needs best and bring more healthy habits into daily play in your life.
If you already know about or use doTERRA and want to learn more, this is a great way to experience their products, ask your questions directly and get to know your neighbors. Community connections are part of the wheel of wellness in our lives.

This evening’s gathering will spotlight doTERRA’s Abode and OnGuard cleaners as well as some personal care cleansers like their shampoo and conditioning bars as well as other hair and body care and a smattering of other products including my travel essentials and summer sun care.

Light refreshments. Plus a free gift just for attending! Enrollment gift opportunity for new members too! It’s like joining Costco, doTERRA is a wholesale buyers club. Becoming a member gives you access to wholesale prices. No minimum monthly order unless you opt into a rewards program. It really is simple and good in my experience.

Event is at my private residence. Please respond to my listed Email and state your interest, name and town you live in for invite. Thanks!

In this meditative gathering, our liturgy will be simple and focus on the presence of the wild life around us. Instead of a typical sermon, we will allow ourselves time to listen as the natural world speaks in its own ways, with optional time to share our experiences. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring along a journal, if you like, to write or sketch your reflections. An alternative form of Holy Communion will be offered to all who would like to participate in this ancient, elemental sacrament.

THE GIN GAME – GET YOUR TICKETS NOW – 6 Perfomances left

Submitted By: planetdoral@yahoo.com – Click to email about this post
We are so proud of this production and can’t wait for you all to come see us!

The Tillamook Association for the Performing Arts (TAPA) & Neat Art Studio of Netarts are delighted to bring the 1979 Pulitzer Prize winning drama THE GIN GAME, written by D.L. Coburn, to the stage. Directed by Robert Buckingham and produced by Kristin Johnson, THE GIN GAME is a poignant story of two people who fight loneliness, loss, and each other while playing Gin!

Fonsia Dorsey, portrayed by Doral Vance, is a new resident at a nursing home for senior citizens and happens to meet Weller Martin, portrayed by Rodney Dahl, a loner and longtime resident at the home. Weller decides to help Fonsia work out the newbie jitters by playing his favorite game of gin rummy. Having never played the game before, Weller teachers Fonsia the basics and she instantly has a case of beginners’ luck, which eats away at poor Weller. This builds her confidence and hilariously irritates Weller. He assumed an easy victory, and now tries, and tries again to foil the newbie’s luck to no avail. They discover that they no longer fit in with their friends, families, and fellow residents. This begins a friendship where the two play gin rummy and discuss the good times, bad times, money, society, and the outside world as a way to counter life’s many defeats. THE GIN GAME is both funny and touching.

Performances will be held at The Barn Community Playhouse in Tillamook on June 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, & July 1 2023 at 7:00PM and June 18, 25, & July 2 2023 at 2:00PM. Doors open one half-hour prior to curtain. Tickets are on sale now at tillamooktheater.com or call the TAPA box office at (503) 812-0275 to purchase tickets, ask questions or you need assistance.

As always, opening night is Gala Night where each ticket holder receives one free beverage and complimentary Hors D’oeuvres.

If that’s you, check out Crinodendron (pronounced cry no DEN dron), the Chilean lantern tree. We’ve got fabulous specimens growing right here in Manzanita and Cannon Beach so give it what it needs and you’re likely to have success.

What does it need? I could tell you but then you wouldn’t come to Saturday’s talk and you DO want to be there!
