WANTED TO HIRE: SKILLED PERSON TO FRAME IN A NEW CEILING EXHAUST FAN

Submitted By: sheila.bayside@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
A newly created Washer & Dryer space inside my house needs a new install of a ceiling exhaust fan. Just the physical install, not the electric portion; an electrician will do that after the fan is in the ceiling. Looking for a skilled person who miraculously is available ASAP. The sheetrockers have already started but are temporarily holding back on the ceiling so YOU can get to the ceiling joists to install the fan first.

I am in Bayside Gardens/Nehalem. Best way to reach me is to text 503-812-2022

Thank you, BBQ community!! Sheila Moran

Needed Triple Axle Boat Trailer Week of Sept 19

Submitted By: Calvin.Noling@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
I have a 29-foot Seaswirl Striper in a slip in Garibaldi that I need to move to/from Greg’s Marine – ¾ mile each way on the road – to have some work done. Do you or someone you know have a boat in the water with the 3-axle bunk trailer sitting idle? I would like to rent the trailer from you for the week of September 19 – no tow vehicle necessary since Greg’s has a tow vehicle. I will pick up/return the trailer from your home or trailer storage location, and take good care of it while I am using it. Thank you.

Submitted By: janine.seadler@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hello Dear BBQ Neighbors:

I am looking for a horse shoe set to use at the Upper Wheeler park. I would also like to meet some other horse shoe players to gather perhaps weekly for a friendly game.
I am moving in two weeks, back to my home in Nehalem, and could use some large plastic tubs. I will need them only temporarily and will be happy to return them to you.
As a frequent BBQ member, I want to thank Chuck and Barbara for the wonderful service they do for our community.

Special Request From Library Friends

Submitted By: jenna.edginton@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
North Tillamook Library Friends is in need of a new space for sorting, pricing and storing books and supplies for our Annual Book Sale. We have received notice that the property where our current sorting room is located is on the market to be sold. If the Annual Book Sale, which has been a fixture in our community for over 20 years, is to continue we need to find new space for continuing our volunteer work.

The sale provides approximately $7,000 to $8,000 per year to support the maintenance of the North Tillamook Library in Manzanita.

We have been fortunate for more than 10 years to find space that was free or required only the payment of the electrical bill. Library Friends might be able to pay a some amount for rent if we find a suitable replacement space.

We need approximately 700 square feet. That can be in one, two or three rooms in the same building, as long as one room is large enough to accommodate the sorting work tables; there are 6 tables that are 8 feet long. The space needs to be dry and have electricity. We have heaters and a dehumidifier in order to keep the books in optimum condition for the sale.

Ideally, we are looking for space in the Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler area in order to have easy access for volunteers who sort and price the books and annually, for the volunteers who move the books to the book sale sites.

If you have such space or know of such space, you could be a lifesaver for our Library. Please contact Madeline Olson at allanmadeline@aol.com.

Thank you for your consideration.

still looking for a kitten

Submitted By: babbles@nehalemtel.net – Click to email about this post
my search for a female kitten to be a companion to my one-year-old cat has so far turned up nothing. it’s likely the time of year. spring would have been better.

i would like a black, or almost all black, or brown, or dark grey, or tortoiseshell female kitten.

are there any out there that would like to come live with me in an indoor-outdoor home (which precludes the tillamook animal shelter) with another sweet, gentle cat?

my previous cat lived to be 18 years old. they have a good life here on my hill.
