Last try – still need a Bali shade replacement for a big window!

Submitted By: jwmerc@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Here’s the re-cap:
I am needing to replace the BALI blind arrangement in this window. Ideally it would be EXACTLY the same (103 inch headrail – “two-on-one” design – the individual shades are 61-1/2 tall and 50-1/2 wide – color is an off-white now as they have been up about three years) – but it would be OK to have the same length headrail with just ONE long shade.
I have turned over every reasonable stone to buy a brand-new arrangement – but in the event someone knows where there is a used one – OR – a terrific outlet for dated shades like this (it still has to be Bali)
I would like to know – the sooner the better…THANKS! jw

I’ve just spent one hour trying to post here a video of the little dog …but I am not tech enough .
So again …a family is moving to another state and not taking their furry companion with them .
You can do a search on Pekinees -or Pekingese-
They are lively, very smart, and their coats need care. Like with any small dogs , they must not be treated as toys for children . Their bones break , they hurt too…I would take her but have 3 dogs already )
I am passing on this need of a CARING forever home. I will send the video to each person who request it….

Car Needed

Submitted By: acwolf05@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi,

My car got stolen from the Hilton Garden Inn parking lot near the airport in Portland. I am returning to the coast carless. I was on a trip helping my Mom out. She has been in the hospital.

So I currently don’t have a car, a way to get to work or get Ronan to school. I am in the process of getting another one.

If you have a car that I could borrow in the mean time, that would be so helpful. Please let me know. I am responsible, have insurance, and can provide references.

Thank you

Bali custom window shade

Submitted By: jwmerc@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
So here’s the story – we had the cat tower a BIT too close to these fancy window shades last year – and our enthusiastic fur-child took a couple of swipes at the top part of one shade (there are two shades on the same headrail as you can see – this is the difficult part) – and now that we are having to move out due to the landlords decision to sell the place I am expected to replace the entire assembly. Nevermind that all other shades in the house are at least 2-1/2 years old – and that these up front don’t match any of the others in the house – a deal is a deal.
Here’s what’s hard to swallow – a replacement can be ordered – but since the headrail is “oversize” the shipping is a +$95 shipping charge. I made the suggestion that two separate shades to replace might be helpful to alleviate this kind of situation again (and that would eliminate the bonus shipping charge) – but it fell on deaf ears.
We have until 5/31 to come up with a suitable replacement – better sooner than later – who’s got one?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions – JW
