Need to borrow or rent cargo rack carrier for SUV

Submitted By: wooly@core.com – Click to email about this post
This item needed for just a week, is one that inserts
into a 2 inch receiver on an SUV. We won’t have over 200 pounds on it, maybe even half that.
Just need a bit more room so the vehicle isn’t overloaded. Our hope is that somebody in BBQ land has one sitting collecting dust somewhere. We would need to pick it up by May17 latest.
May even opt to purchase afterwards, if that’s your desire.
Please email if you do. wooly@core.com
Thanks so much.

I am in need of a large animal trap so that I can rehome some very annoying raccoons. They are wreaking havoc with my barn cats. They must go.
I would love to borrow the trap, but will purchase at a reasonable price if necessary. Please text or email. Thank you!

adjustable office chair or stool

I am in need of an adjustable, padded office stool or chair to use in my pottery space. I sit at a high counter and need something more comfortable that doesn’t cut off blood circulation to my legs! Nothing fancy as it will be covered in clay soon enough. Just needs to be in good working order. You can email me and I will get back to you soon.

Help start my riding lawn mower

Submitted By: kyrasin1@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi,

I am looking for someone to please help me find out why my lawn mower wont start.

I took it up to the barn and put it away nicely. Had a newer battery. Tried to start it and it would not. I bought a new battery, a new fuse, and the wiring was done about 2 years ago. So what gives?? Ugh… it’s always worked before.

Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

Environmental scientist ISO private room, tiny home

Submitted By: tylersimpson295@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi friends! My name is Tyler, one of the lead wildlife interpreters at Haystack Rock Awareness Program. I moved here just a few months ago to work / volunteer with a number of conservation groups, further exploring my career as an Environmental scientist whilst positively contributing to the community.

Up until now, I have been renting via a monthly lease in Seaside thanks to FurnishedFinder (primarily for travel nurses). Unfortunately my landlords have informed me that they are experiencing a family emergency and will need the space for the remainder of the year to house their daughter and granddaughter.

With that, I am frantically looking for housing in the area, especially of which might come furnished. I am searching for a private bedroom, tiny home, etc. for the month of May so that I may look for long-term housing for the remanding of the year.

I have a large number of positive references, from AirBnB, to long-term rentals on Furnished Finder (including my current landlords), to a number of colleagues from Cannon Beach’s City Hall. You can also find my bio and title on HRAP’s website 🙂

Thank you for reading my post!

Looking for a computer handy volunteer for White Clover Grange

Submitted By: vivi@nehalemtel.net – Click to email about this post
The White Clover Grange is looking for a volunteer to help us get the most out of our new Squarespace website. It’s up and running (www.whiteclovergrange.org) and has great features that suit us including a blog feature that uses the Substack platform.

We’re guessing that there is someone out there in BBQ-land who has more experience in this realm than we do. Maybe you already use the Squarespace platform for your own website, and you have used Substack. Or possibly you just have a knack for computers and websites.

If you are that computer-handy person who also has a heart for the White Clover Grange, and a willingness to volunteer your skills, please send me an email!

Thank you,
Vivi Tallman

Want to rent

Submitted By: catwollen@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Like so many, we are looking for housing so we can stay on the coast. We’ve been living in 650 sq. ft. in CB apt. for 11 years; residents of CB for 17 years. We need to move by June the 4th of this year. We’re looking for similar accommodations with a minimum of 1 year lease. A little about us: Mature couple – married 46 years with impeccable references and credit. Guaranteed steady income. Private, quiet, non-smokers and drinkers with close ties to the community through volunteer work. One small well behaved companion dog with excellent house manners. Our mind is open to a smaller living situation if it seems like the right fit. We are looking to pay rent year round; are ‘son-birds’ with the privilege to be with grandsons out of state. Please drop us a line if you know of anything available. We would be grateful for any leads you have. Blessings.

Recommendations for plumbing remodel

Submitted By: Rumblemailbox@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hello, friends! I need your recommendations, please. I’m wanting to remodel my bathroom to remove a standard tub and install a jetted tub for hydrotherapy (maybe a walk-in). Finding the right contractor/plumber combo is crucial. Do you have recommendations for local contractors based on your experience? Any suggestions on the type of tub that worked for you? There are plenty of advertised tub companies wooing elderly consumers, so I want to avoid a bad experience. Thank you!

Clawfoot tub and Ceramic/Terracotta pots for Garden:)

Submitted By: amersereau@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi all,
I am looking for a clawfoot bath tub to use in my garden (needs to hold water but it’s ok if it’s a bit funky) as well as more ceramic, terracotta or even nicer colored plastic pots – ideally larger sized. I figured it doesn’t hurt to ask in case anyone has things they’re trying to get rid of! Let me know, I’m in Nehalem and would be happy to pick up.
Thanks!
