IN SEARCH OF LOCAL CPA FOR LOCAL NONPROFIT

Submitted By: fsquillo@riverbendplayers.org – Click to email about this post

Riverbend Players Community Theater is searching for a local CPA to assist us with minimal filing requirements for the state and federal governments for our nonprofit group.

Our previous treasurer handled these matters but passed away, and we feel a professional would be best going forward.

If you are a local CPA or can recommend one, please email me at fsquillo@riverbendplayers.org.

Much gratitude!

Submitted By: farmers@moonriverfarmers.com – Click to email about this post
Hi Folks,

We are getting going on the 2024 growing season out on the farm and it all starts with our crew. We had great luck last year when we put the word out looking for summer housing for our employees so here we are again.

We are looking for housing for a couple from Bend. They will be visiting the area in a couple weeks to scope out opportunities and we are hoping to help by asking here. We may also be looking for housing for a single individual, tdb.

If you or someone you know has any leads please shoot us an email at farmers@moonriverfarmers.com

Thanks so much!

ISO Random tile needed

Submitted By: Artwithmisskaren@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
I’m trying to find random tile I could patch together to do the bathroom floor. Sort of like an old school scrap quilt. It’s a tiny bathroom. 5’x8’ in size with a big shower pan chunk out of that.
The tiles don’t need to match. Any color or shapes would be fun. So if you have any stuff laying around from a past project. This artist would be delighted to come get them.
Blessings – Karen

BOUNDARIES AGAINST PAINFUL SLANDER

Submitted By: sheila.bayside@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
The BBQ is such an enormous service to our community. Frankly, I don’t know how we would get along without it.

That said, I was painfully disturbed be a recent post in which a resident of Wheeler slandered specific members of our community amidst expressing concern about the troublesome presence of theft and drugs within the area.

My post here is an appeal that we self police ourselves in BBQ posts and restrain from serious, negative comments that identify specific people. Rarely is GOSSIP productive. Often it can be harmful and hurtful. Rarely is it a fully informed account. In regards to the post that upset me, I know two of the people mentioned; I was alarmed by the misrepresentation and lack of accuracy.
